At this time of the year we all begin to count our many blessings. The list for the PTA President is very long. On the top of my list is the Executive PTA Board. Each member of our board does an outstanding job completing their goals for the students at Keeth. I am very proud of all that each of them do. Each of them understands the essence of what it means to work for all the children. Did you know that the majority of the time the PTA Board members spends at school is with someone else's child or in a classroom that their own children are not in? Many have a very limited time they can spend at school, but choose to help where it is needed even though it is not directly with there own kids. For this I am thankful and so is the staff at Keeth.

Next, on my list is my own family. How many hours a day does the PTA President spend doing PTA stuff? Let's just say lots and leave it at that. My family never complains about the thrown together meals or the endless emails and phone calls. They just bare with me and we make it through. Thank you to my husband for his endless hours of computer tutoring. I have come so far in a short amount of time. To my son Michael for making everything I type look good. I am thankful to Shelby for knowing just when Mommy is at the end of her rope and giving me a hug. They all support the journey I am on and take everything in stride.

I am thankful to the Administration and staff at Keeth for the willingness to work with the PTA Board in all our endeavors. To Mr.Senko and Mrs. Hallstrom for never closing the door on me when I just need 2 minutes and I walk out 30 minutes later. I am thankful to all the teachers who let me in the door and let me borrow stuff for all our functions. Mostly I am glad to be at a school that lets parents be involved in their children's education.

The staff member at Keeth that makes my life the easiest is Deborah Neville. She is forever helping me with something and constantly answering a question or letting me in the vault to put money in or take money out. Her constant smile makes it a pleasure to come to school everyday. A huge thanks to her as I count her as one of my blessings.

Lastly, I want to thank the parents for your support in all we do at Keeth. Each of you brings something special to your child's life when they see you volunteering.

I wish each of you a very Happy Holiday season and hope each of you will count your blessings.
