If you've been looking for an opportunity to lend your time and talents to a PTA sponsored event - here's your chance!  Teacher Appreciation Week (T.A.W.) is a nationally observed annual event which takes place in the month of May.  Its purpose is to focus attention to the many outstanding educators whose work deserves to be recognized.  Last year, teachers were treated to goodies, each and every day of the week.  Every Keeth student made a floral pen during their art class for their respective teacher.  The pens were placed together in a bouquet from their class, and were presented to them in a custom designed flower pot with their very own caricature painted on each pot!  This took place at the annual Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, held in the Media Center, where last year, all staff were treated to lunch from the Olive Garden.  Teachers also received daily morning and afternoon surprises, including coffee mugs, insulated lunch totes, movie boxes complete with popcorn, candy and a movie rental pass, specially designed t-shirts, Starbuck's coffee each and every morning, pastries from Panera Bread, fresh fruit trays, ice cream and much more!  There are many ways you can assist, and many of the tasks can be done outside of school hours.  If you are interested in helping out, please feel free to leave me a note in my PTA mailbox located at the front office, or email me at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it
